Aukett Swanke Group member Veretec have been selected as part of the winning multidisciplinary team alongside celebrated Designer Es Devlin to create the UK’s showcase pavilion at the next World Expo in Dubai in 2020. The 20 metre high, cone-shaped pavilion is made up of cross laminated timber blades, set out radially to create a slanting circular façade incorporating LED’s to display poetry and messaging using contemporary algorithm processes generated using words donated by Pavilion visitors.
