JRHP were appointed as the project architects, tasked with delivering the design and overseeing post-contract services for Seventh Heaven; a landmark residential development within the expansive 50-hectare master plan of Al Barari. The original concept, initiated by a Hong Kong-based practice, was handed over to our team for full design delivery and execution, ensuring continuity of vision while enhancing constructability and detail resolution.
Set within one of Dubai’s most lush and ecologically ambitious landscapes, Seventh Heaven encapsulates the client’s vision of a uniquely immersive residential community. The project spans approximately 100,000 sqm and comprises 157 luxury residences, including penthouses and villa-style apartments. It also integrates premium retail, F&B, and communal amenity spaces; positioning the development as both a vibrant living environment and a catalyst for the wider Al Barari site.
Architecturally, the project is defined by its striking, terraced form. The cascading, stepped profile evokes a mountain range, allowing for panoramic views and maximised exposure to daylight and natural ventilation, not only offering visual dynamism but also serves a functional purpose; promoting airflow, light access, and privacy across all residences.
Residences are conceived with a strong emphasis on spatial generosity and indoor-outdoor living. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing blurs the boundary between interior and landscape, allowing light to flood the interiors and framing views of the rich botanical setting. Selected units are equipped with private elevators, garden terraces, and other bespoke luxury features that enhance the living experience.
A key tenet of the design is its integration with nature and commitment to sustainability. Passive design measures, such as deep overhangs and external shading, are incorporated alongside active systems, including water recycling for landscape irrigation. The selection of high-performance materials and sustainable technologies ensures both environmental responsibility and lasting quality.
The architectural expression responds directly to the verdant context of Al Barari; a rare urban sanctuary. Seventh Heaven is not just a collection of homes but a curated lifestyle environment, where design, landscape, and wellbeing converge.
