Etisalat (E&) chose this design over all other entries following an international design competition, judging that the built form embodies the spirit of Dubai by making reference to Dubai’s maritime tradition. The organic form of stacked office floors is surmounted by the Etisalat trade mark ‘golf ball’ which houses communication equipment.
